Ethical
Marketing
The
ethics of marketing to children are of great concern to us, so
we ensure that any product or material to be included in the bags,
meet with at least one of these criteria:
Educational
value
Safety |
Creativity
Sport & Music |
Hygiene
Healthy Eating |
We
have always had links with organisations associated with children’s
well-being such as NAPE (National Association for Primary Education),
NCPTA (National Confederation of Parent Teacher Associations)
and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and were consulted by the National
Consumer Council in setting up guidelines for marketing to schools.
Therefore we believe that our bags with their high ethical and
educational value are the ideal venue for ‘correct products’ to
be seen in and the bags' audience of pupils, parents and teachers
is both receptive and grateful.
All
products and insertions included in FiM bags must fulfil our ethical
marketing criteria. This guarantees positive and valuable
content for the children, and maintains the enthusiasm of parents,
teachers and schools for the program. It also sends a strong message
about your brand to both parents and children:
If you are in the bag, you are right for children!
