FiM sampling bags are smart compilations of product samples,
branded
premium items and special offers targeted specifically
at children, and distributed through registered schools.
Each bag is aimed at a different age group and carries a
distinctive, colourful logo. Bags are completely FREE to
schools and pupils.
All FiM bags are accompanied with supportive information
packs for teachers, providing an opportunity to contact
the decision-makers in the school as well as link items
in the children's bags to the national curriculum, through
additional teaching material.
Spurred
on by the enthusiasm of schools, children, parents and our
clients, FiM has created a total of 5 schools sampling bags.
FiM sampling bags now reach over 1 million children and
25,000 teachers across the UK each year; that's approximately
1 child in 4 in each targeted age-group.
Sponsorship
of bag content is subject to strict content
guidelines for each age group. Previous
participants
in the bags have included both commercial sponsors and manufacturers
as well as governmental and educational bodies.
The
colourful Prime Time activity magazine,
launched in September 1996, adds to the flexibility and
appeal of FiM's programmes by allowing clients with appropriate
(but not sampleable) product to communicate their brand
message to their target audience in an interactive way.
With a circulation of 200,000 per distribution, Prime
Time represents is the largest children's magazine per issue
in the UK.
